We collect almost nothing.
This page is short because there is little to declare. No cookies, no analytics, no advertising pixels and no tracking of any kind, and even the typefaces are served from our own domain instead of a font CDN. The only third-party calls a page makes are the public data APIs a checker queries, and on the home page one runs automatically to show a live example. You can verify every sentence here in your browser's network tab.
When you just browse
Nothing is stored on your device beyond one optional item: if you switch the light/dark theme, that choice is saved in your browser's local storage so the site remembers it. It never leaves your device and it is not an identifier. Our host (Cloudflare Pages) keeps standard server logs, which include IP addresses, for security and abuse prevention. We serve our own fonts, so your browser makes no request to any third party while reading this site.
When you use a free checker
The checkers query the public APIs directly from your browser: the Bluesky public API, city open-data portals, the Commission's map services. We do not proxy those requests and we never see what you looked up.
When you send the order form
You give us a work email and, optionally, company, plan of interest, commodity and notes. That is sent to our own server (the desk that runs your order, hosted on Render in Frankfurt, inside the EU) and delivered to our inbox. It does not pass through any form service. We use it for one thing: to answer you and, if you buy, to deliver the service. No newsletter, no resale, no sharing with third parties, no profiling.
How long: while the conversation is useful, and for the legal retention period if you become a customer. Your rights: access, correction, deletion, portability and objection. Write to [email protected] and we act within 30 days, usually the same day.
When you pay
There is no payment gateway on this website and no checkout on any page, so no card details are collected here and we never see or store any. When a piece of work has been agreed in writing and delivered, we hold the billing details you give us for the invoice (name, address, and a tax identifier where one applies) for as long as accounting and tax law require the invoice to be kept, and for nothing else. If a payment processor is used for a specific engagement, we name it in writing before you pay and tell you what it receives.
Where the data sits, and who we are
The pages are served by Cloudflare Pages from its global network, so server logs may sit outside the EU. What you send us, the order form and your order data, is handled by our own service on Render in Frankfurt, inside the EU. If we ever add analytics, this page changes first and the date at the top moves. We have no plans to.
